Developing and implementing policies and strategies to promote sports and physical activity within the country. This includes creating frameworks for the development of various sports disciplines and recreational activities.
Athlete Development
Supporting the growth and development of athletes at various levels, from grassroots to elite, by providing training facilities, coaching programs, and opportunities for competition.
Sports Infrastructure
Planning, building, and maintaining sports infrastructure such as stadiums, sports complexes, training centers, and recreational facilities to provide accessible venues for sports activities.
Vision
To be the leading State in grassroots sports development, by creating sustainable programmes that aim to showcase the State while creating wealth for the athletes.
Mission
To Discover, Train and Nurture Young and Talented Youths in Sports with Emphasis on Local Content
Our strategy is to identify talents from all the 18 LGAs in Cross River State and transform them from Zero to Heros.
